COIL COATING PROCEDURE*, AIR-CONDITIONING UNITS:
The air-conditioner unit is completely disassembled, leaving only the hermetic system. This would include the condenser coil, evaporator coil, compressor and all connecting tubing.
The hermetic system is then pressure washed, with a light detergent, power rinsed with fresh water, and blow dried with clean compressed air, removing any water bridging within the coils.
The system is air dried over night and is directly coated with " CORONOADO, RUSTSCAT " polyurethane enamel No. 31-1. This is applied with a very thinned down application, called FLOW COATING. The coating actually runs and drips its way thru the coil system, penetrating in areas not reachable by normal spray application. This process is repeated several times from all angles until approximately 3 dry mills is applied. Compressed air is used after each application to eliminate any bridging that may have occurred during this process. A standard spray application is lastly applied for cosmetic appearance.
The system is air dried, reassembled, modified with revisions, and boxed for shipment.
M31 SERIES URETHANE ALKYD
Urethane alkyd high gloss enamel. Designed for use primarily on metal that is subject to corrosion, oxidation, or that may in some other way be attacked by an environmental exposure. Storage tanks, construction equipment, tools and implements, power generation equipment, ships (above the water line), scaffolding, materials handling equipment, oil field equipment and rigging, industrial buildings both interior and exterior.
HERESITE VR-500
Heresite VR-500 air dry phenolic series coatings are specifically formulated to permit application by brush, spray or roller. Some of their outstanding properties are excellent durability, good adhesion, good film building characteristics and flexibility. When thoroughly aged they produce a hard corrosion resistnat film. They are recommended as a heavy duty maintenance coating for exposures to splash, spillage and fumes.
Applications include: Chemical Plants, Marine Finishes, Sewage Disposal Plants, etc.
*NOTE: Coil coating is applied to retard the corrosion process of coils exposed to a harsh environment. Due to unknown conditions, installation, maintenance, etc. these coatings are not warranted.
